Who's Idea Was It To Allow Musicals In The Movie Industry?
Musicals
Who was it that thought musicals would be a good idea for a film genre. Every one of them I have seen has a very awkward plot that I can't follow, annoying and obnoxious characters that feel the need to sing to the entire audience when in reality we're just trying to figure out what exactly is going on in the movie and why on earth they are singing about it. This is just my opinion but seriously, could you be any more ignorant toward the elements that go into making a good film that actually does well at the box office? Besides, movies are meant for entertainment and they give you that sense of an alternate reality when you're watching so that you feel like you're actually involved. There is nearly no realism or sense that you're actually in the story because in a real world situations humans wouldn't react to to their emotions by singing out of random and then suddenly others join in and freestyle their way into each other's hearts. That is one of the world's wonders to me, how the heck does everyone know exactly how to carry out the song and sing together when during the movie it's supposed to be spontaneous and also, how do people present entire dance routines without even meeting each other to recite? Like look this and tell me you can actually take it seriously. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbrbUfYSt0E
no offence, but if youre going to say musicals are bad, you should have chosen high school musical or little shop of horrors instead of les miserables, an award winning movie. Just saying :p
